CNAA's industrial plants are located in the Southeast and Center-West regions of Brazil, areas that are suitable for sugarcane plantations. Besides the good climatological and soil conditions, the topography facilitates mechanization and other agricultural techniques to reduce production costs. Marketing is facilitated by well-developed infrastructure and proximity to ports, major highways and key consumer centers.
